If you looked up Profound’s pricing recently, you may have noticed it changed.
In September 2026, Profound removed its self-serve Starter and Growth plans for brands. Today its pricing page offers two things: a free seven-day trial, and an Enterprise plan with a custom price.
Omni Impact takes the other road. Our prices are on our pricing page, and you can start the same day.
That difference shapes most of this comparison. Profound is built and sold for large enterprise programs. Omni Impact is built for teams and agencies that want daily answers from ChatGPT and Google’s AI features without a sales process.
We make Omni Impact, so read this as a vendor’s comparison. Every fact about Profound below links to Profound’s own pages or to a dated public record, and we say plainly where Profound is the better choice. Facts were checked on October 14, 2026.
What changed at Profound in September.
Until mid-September 2026, Profound sold two self-serve plans for brands: Starter at $99 a month and Growth at $399 a month. A public pricing tracker recorded both being removed between September 14 and September 21, 2026, and replaced with a free Trial plan. Enterprise stayed as the custom-priced tier.
Profound’s pricing page now describes the two plans this way:
- Trial (free): 50 unique prompts run daily for seven days, in ChatGPT, Gemini and Google AI Overviews. It includes limited AI Marketer credits, one language and one region, and no data history, exports or API.
- Enterprise (custom): a tailored prompt tracking plan checked daily, up to nine answer engines, SSO/SAML and SOC 2 compliance, an API, CSV and JSON exports, all-time data history, custom languages and regions, and dedicated support options.
The same page mentions a self-serve Agency Growth plan for agencies, with 400 credits a month per client workspace, but does not list its price.
On September 15, 2026, CMSWire reported a $180 million Series D at a $1.8 billion valuation, co-led by Sequoia Capital and Kleiner Perkins. Profound says it serves more than 1,000 enterprise brands, including Walmart, Zoom and Figma.

Side by side.
Where Profound is the better choice.
Profound is a strong product for the buyer it is built for. Choose it if:
- You need enterprise procurement boxes ticked. SSO/SAML, SOC 2 compliance and dedicated support options are on Profound’s Enterprise plan. They are not part of Omni Impact’s published plans today.
- You need engines we don’t cover. Profound lists Microsoft Copilot and Exa Search as Enterprise capabilities, with custom pricing. (DeepSeek, which Profound also lists there, is available on Omni Impact through the open-model add-on.)
- You run in many languages or regions. Profound sells custom language and region coverage.
- You want raw data out. Profound’s Enterprise plan includes an API and CSV and JSON exports. Our API is not available yet.
- You want prompt demand data or shopping tracking. Prompt Volumes and ChatGPT Shopping are Profound features we don’t match.
- You have the budget for a custom contract and want a large, well-funded vendor behind it.
Where Omni Impact is the better choice.
Choose Omni Impact if:
- You want to see the price first. Our plans are listed with prices, and you can start without a call.
- ChatGPT and Google are where your buyers ask. Every plan checks every tracked prompt daily in ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Google AI Mode and Gemini, including the $59 Starter plan.
- You want help acting on what you find. Every plan turns findings into recommendations for new content, content changes and technical fixes to your site. You can generate a fix and publish it through connected apps such as WordPress and GitHub once you approve it, and the Omni agent drafts new content for your review.
- You’re a smaller team or an agency. Agencies get a workspace per client with white-labeled reports.
You can also start for free. The AEO Readiness Check shows how readable your site is to AI engines before you pay for anything.
What it costs to start.
On Omni Impact, the smallest paid plan is $59 a month, or $49 a month billed yearly, at launch pricing. It tracks 50 prompts, checks each one daily in four engines, and includes site and content recommendations and 250 agent messages a month. Pro is $179 a month and adds Perplexity with 100 prompts. Premium is $499 a month and adds Claude with 350 prompts.
On Profound, you can try 50 prompts free for seven days. After that, brands move to an Enterprise contract. Profound does not publish Enterprise prices, so the only way to know the cost is to ask its sales team.
If your budget needs a number before a meeting, that difference may decide it.

How we wrote this comparison.
We took every Profound fact from Profound’s public pricing page, a public pricing tracker that records changes by date, and press coverage, all checked on October 14, 2026. We took every Omni Impact fact from our own pricing page and our How we measure guide. We did not use Profound’s product under a paid contract, so we describe its features as Profound describes them.
Pricing in this category changes often. Profound’s changed in September. We will review this page at least every 90 days. If something here is wrong or out of date, email [email protected] and we will correct it.
