Start with your website and brand identity. Then run a market analysis and add the questions you want to track.
Before you start
Have your website domain, the brand name your customers use, and a short description of your business ready. Open Home after signing in. The setup flow has five stages: Domain, Brand name, Site crawl, Market, and First analysis.
Set up your workspace
Follow the setup flow, or use Data Hub to return to your domain, brand identity, and market settings.
- Add your domain. Enter the website you want to measure, such as
alpinebars.example. Continue to start the site crawl. - Confirm your brand name. Use the name buyers recognize. Review suggested spellings and add relevant aliases rather than unrelated category words.
- Wait for the site crawl. The crawl step advances when it completes. If it fails, use Retry crawl.
- Describe your business. Review the proposed market category before applying it. This defines the market used by Share of Voice.
- Run the first analysis. Select Run first analysis. The analysis can take time; a queued state means results are still pending.
The first analysis measures Share of Voice in your market. It is separate from tracking the prompts you create in My Prompts.
Add questions to track
Open My Prompts, review any existing prompts, and add the questions you want to measure.
- New prompt: write a question and choose its models.
- Generate: describe your business, generate draft questions, review them, and save the ones you want.
- Import CSV: bring a list of questions into the workspace.
For a fictional snack brand, a discovery question might be “Which snack bars are suitable for a long hike?” A branded question might be “What ingredients are in Alpine Bars?” Keeping both types helps you distinguish category discovery from answers about your brand.

Read your first results
Use Prompt Metrics for prompt results and Share of Voice for your market analysis. In Prompt Metrics, open a prompt and select Runs to inspect individual checks and answers.
On Home, the score cards are labeled Overall score, Website score, and Prompt score. The Visibility trend chart helps you follow changes over time. Use How we measure to understand the cards.
Keep your baseline useful
Review your brand identity and competitors before drawing conclusions. Keep a stable set of buyer questions so comparisons refer to the same tasks. Check the selected time range, segment, and model when comparing results.
If results are missing or a crawl needs attention, follow Troubleshooting.
